Party Wall Damage Notification

In this week’s property surveying blog post, we are going to be discussing party wall procedures and in particular, what an adjoining owner should do should they note issue or damage to their property and believe they have suffered from Party Wall Damage.

Here at Stokemont, we firmly believe that this type of scenario should be dealt with swiftly, and as comprehensively as possible.  We have therefore designed an industry first, party wall damage notification web page that gives an adjoining owner the opportunity to upload all of the relevant information to our website, and send it direct to the surveyor with one click of a button.

The benefit of this type of service ultimately ensures that an adjoining owner is able to transfer and translate all of the information pertinent to the issue to the surveyor, with a firm record being in place, so that the surveyor can act upon it swiftly and without delay.

Party wall damage can be an incredibly nerve wracking time for adjoining owners.  Here at Stokemont, we recognise that this type of issue should be addressed quickly and without delay, thereby ensuring that procedures are implemented as quickly as possible to not only safeguard the adjoining owner from further damage, but ultimately ensure the damage that has occurred is made good as quickly as possible.

This service currently only applies for Stokemont’s clients, however, in the future we do intend to roll it out industry wide, so please watch this space.

If you have suffered party wall damage and would like to speak to our team of qualified and experienced surveyors today, whether you are a client of Stokemont or not, we are still more happy to assist you. Give our team of experienced surveyors a call now and they will be more than happy to assist you.
