Boundary Determination Quotation Before instructing a Surveyor, we would always advise attempting to resolve the dispute directly with your neighbour in the first instance. How many boundaries are in dispute?(Required)Please Select123456We classify boundaries based on the specific area in dispute. For example, if you have a dispute with the neighbour to the left-hand side of your rear garden, this would be classified as one boundary. If you also have a dispute with the same neighbour to the front garden, this would be classified as two boundaries. If you have a further dispute with the neighbour to the right-hand side of the rear garden, this would be classified as three boundaries. Will we have access to both sides of the boundary in dispute, or is this a joint instruction with your neighbour?(Required)Please SelectYesNoIn almost all cases, our boundary inspections are undertaken from one side of the boundary, for example from your garden. However, there can be scenarios where access is agreed to both sides of the boundary, such as from the neighbouring owner’s garden as well. Or, where both neighbouring owners jointly instruct us to advise them. Our ApproachHere’s a brief overview of what to expect: Initial DiscussionUpon arrival to the property, the Surveyor’s will discuss the background to the matter so that we can fully familiarise ourselves with the facts. During this discussion, we will ask questions and take notes to ensure we can refer to the relevant information later in the process. Site InspectionOnce the initial discussion is complete, we will progress to the full site inspection and survey. The boundary will be closely reviewed, historic reference points will be sought, and relevant elements will be measured, checked and recorded. Please note that this does not constitute a measured topographical survey, but rather a detailed fact-finding inspection. Post-Inspection DiscussionOnce the site inspection is complete, we will provide you with an initial view of our findings. However, please note that the site survey only forms part of the overall assessment. The remaining work will involve cross-referencing the on-site findings with the information identified during the post-inspection desktop research. Our TimingsWe generally have a 2 - 5 day lead time on getting inspections booked in and then aim to have the report served within 7 days of inspecting.
